My tag 3 of 2007 does not look very much like Tim's but I did use the same technique. I don't have any red or green distress embossing powder or the Santa he used so I decided to use a Santa from Artistic Outpost. I have used black soot, vintage photo and walnut stain distress embossing powders. This is such a fun technique. I love how when you tap the paper from underneath the powders jump into position. My problem is having them stay there once you have embossed. The little girl and the scroll are from from Crafty Secrets. The holly and crown are TH. If you go to "Inkin it Up" Kathy has a link so we can come and see your tags.
Have you been watching Tim's previews of all the 2011 releases. It is amazing! So far I want almost everything. I wish CHA was every 2 years to give me time to save up and to make more use of what I have. They say you can't have everything - but you can try!
Thank you for looking!
Got my linker fixed Donna. Sorry about that! I really like your tag and I just love that Santa image you used. I have it somewhere and meant to dig it out all season and use it. I have to look for it and maybe get them organized while I have it out.
ReplyDeleteTerrific tag Donna and love your take on it. Annette x
