Compendium of Curiosities Challenge- week 10

Here we are at week 10 of the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge . This week we are doing something with distress stickles so I was disappointed to see I only have Rock Candy distress stickles. I have made another Christmasy page for my book. It may be because every available space in my house is covered with Christmas paper and embellishments. Any day now the Christmas cards will start lining up my shelves. Materials I used for this project include Rock Candy Distress Stickles, walnut stain, pine needles and tumbled glass distress inks, stamps from TH Reindeer flight, die cuts from Sizzix. Compendium of Curiosities Challenge- week 8

I am back and ready for the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge #8 taking place at Studio L3. This week we are Inking Grunge. I love the cementy look of inked grunge and how stamping on it with different colors gives an image depth. I have used stormy sky, bundled sage, dusty concord and broken china distress inks. I also used midnight blue, jet black and stone grey Stazon inks. The stamps are TH, The Old Island Stamp Company and Inkadinkado (I think). I used stream and black alcohol inks on the metal dragonflies. Thank you for looking!

Thank you for all of the wonderful comments and well wishes. I was at the annual family camp out. We had too much heat, mosquitoes, lightening storms with pouring rain, kayak misadventures and a really good time!
