I was thinking I was going to miss the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge this week because I have had a crummy flu thing ruling my life but I managed to make this piece this afternoon. I didn't have the can size but knew there was a big ac in the basement so used that. Not as much control maybe but after playing awhile I was seeing some possibilities for this technique. This week over at Studio L3 the amazing Linda has given us the task of creating Perfect Distress. I can't tell you how I made this piece but I can say I used a sentiment stamp from Scrolls Work, a stars background from Cornish Heritage Farms, a Sizzix embossing folder, distress inks - chipped sapphire, broken china, and tumbled glass. I also used turquoise Perfect Pearls.The generous people at Simon Stamps are sponsoring us this week.
