The theme at DragonsDream this week is " winged things". I used a long grass stamp from Stampin Up. I embossed it with clear ep. and then ironed it after inking with Tim Holtz distress inks stormy sky and faded jeans. The dragonfly stamp is from Stamp It!. The Poem is a new one I got from Scrolls Work. The ribbon is from my stash. I colored the dragonfly and coated it with Ranger Matte Accents.
I never did get to the garden today. One thing led to another and you know how it goes. Before you know it the day is done. Thank you for looking!
This tag is for the DRAGONSDREAM TAG IT ON challenge where the theme is" Birds as You Will". I find it hard to resist "bird stamps" and just keep buying them. Here I have used a set from Stampin Up and a few background stamps from TH. The cages are embossed with graphite ep. I used distress inks and archival inks.
It rained so hard here in the night that it woke me up. This morning there was slush on the ground so it must have hailed or snowed. The birds don't seem to mind how cold it is - but I do. We have had a few sunny afternoons but it is starting to feel like Spring got lost somewhere.

I have been so busy with making Christmas cards that I have had to stay away from blogging. I get distracted much too easily. I still have a tree to decorate but I think it can wait. The theme on DRAGONSDREAM TAG IT ON is CHRISTMAS. This bird (from Impression Obsession) has been a favorite this year and so has black and white. The flourish is a TH stamp. Thank you for looking! The challenge at DRAGONSDREAM this week is Face to Face. We were to use alcohol inks or markers to create the background. I have used alcohol inks and many face stamps. It was nice to take a break from Christmas Card mania to come out and play, Thanks for looking !

The challenge for DRAGONSDREAM TAG IT ON this week is Up, up and Away. I was thinking of several things to do with this theme but chose to use my Tim Holtz man to float away chasing his dreams.
The challenge this week on DRAGONSDREAM Tag it on was to make a bookmark. The quote is from Quietfire Creations. I thought the crows feet fit well with the "old" idea.
