Grungy Monday #3
This week at Studio L3- Linda has us exploring Adirondack Color Washes. I have made a 10"x10" wall hanging (it's mounted on an Ikea frame. I used dried and pressed seaweed as masks - spraying with ink, taking them off and spraying again. I did this twice and then added other colors here and there. The fish stamps are from Scrolls Work Stamps. I embossed them with blue china dep , sprayed lettuce ACW over them and distressed them with black soot distress ink. The shell necklace was a thrift store find. The seaweed and baby crabs are from the beach ( already dried ) The starfish are real too. The rocks are sprayed with stream ACW and some of the shells are painted with expresso alcohol ink. I used some blue perfect pearls on the seaweed. I used Butterscotch, Stream, Denim, Expresso, Sailboat Blue and Meadow Adirondack Color Washes for the background.
I didn't think I would get it finished today but I did and cleaned up the mess too! You will want to see the great samples Linda and her special guest have created and don't forget to visit Tim too!
Thank you for looking!
