Thank God its Friday- Its all in the hat

The theme this week on Thank God it's Friday is " Pointy Hats". Sometimes you just have to go where your muse takes you. I was thinking about whether witches even wore hats and so on and this is what happened. The moon and clouds I made with a Stampscape image. The wicca rede came from flicker and I printed it on acetate. I added the "Do you believe" before printing. The witch is from Aisling.net and the pointy hat is from Lisa's Altered Art. I used distress inks for color. Thank you for looking!

Thank God its Friday- Raining

The theme this week on Thank God it's Friday is "it's raining".  This is a collage put together with images I downloaded from the internet. I used distress ink to make it more dreary. The words are from a Longfellow quote. Thank you for looking.

Thank God its Friday-a magical thing

The challenge this week on Thank God it's Friday is White. Often when I think of white I think winter. My piece was very difficult to scan. It has been painted with gesso and white paint. The bird is an acetate transfer. I used Micro Fine Glitter on the top before applying snowflakes and frame.  Thank you for looking.

Thank God its Friday-Murder of Crows

The challenge this week for Thank God it's Friday is Wonderful Trees. What could be more wonderful than a tree full of crows. NOT. They are very noisy. I used a mask and inks to create the background. The stamp is from King Rubber. I put "crystal effects" on the crows. Thank you for looking.

TGIF - Skulls

I was determined to do the Thank God it's Friday challenge - skulls, because I have never liked skulls much and thought I should give them a chance. It took awhile but I did come up with a card I was pleased with. I have used a Tim Holtz mask and gesso, face stamp-unknown, tree full of crows stamp-Rubber King, skulls-RF clipart... Happy Haunting.

Thank God its Friday- Banners

For the TGIF challenge this week I have played with  a Quietfire crow and distress inks. This is a fun shape to work with.
