GC115: Random Redhead- Tribute to Teens

Here is my Creation for the Gingersnap Creations Random Redhead Challenge which is a tribute to teens. I love teenagers, especially the outlandish ones. I like to think it is there duty to entertain us by coming up with new ways to decorate themselves.
My image is from my stash and the papers I used are from We R Memory Keepers. I also used distress inks (Ranger).
Thank you for looking!  Happy Sunday!

Gingersnap Creations #105 -Chestnut Theme Challenge

The Chestnut Theme Challenge at Gingersnaps is "At the Mall". So the way I see it is you go when there is a BIG SALE and you take a credit card (preferably your husband's). I used the packaging from some Melissa Frances embellishments to create my mall on. The rest of the images are from my stash. I used a Old Island Stamp Company flourish and Melissa Frances bling.

  Thank you for looking.

Compendium of Curiosities Challenge- week 34

Can you believe we are almost at the end of this creative journey (and ready to start a new one of course).I decided to make a commemorative collage of different techniques I have used with the addition of our amazing Linda ( I asked her permission first). It will be a fun piece for me to have in my book. The first fragment I made ended in disaster when the paper came off the glue on my fingers and then the ink bled. I liked it better but that's how it goes sometimes. Make sure you go visit Studio L3. There are some amazing fragments over there.

Compendium of Curiosities Challenge- week 29

I did a very simple one for this weeks CC challenge over at Studio L3 where our task is to create "weathered wood". My background is embossed using a distressed embossing plate from Sizzix. When went to use it I thought it was wood grain. My grunge paper is all used up so this will have to do. It must be a hardwood. The grain is very close together. The words and image are from Lisa's Altered Art and the bird stamp is from Scrolls Work.

The PLAY DATE CAFE - PDCC 52

Over at THE PLAY DATE CAFE they are celebrating a One Year Anniversary. Congratulations Play Date Cafe! The colors they challenged us with this week are orange pink and yellow. I have made this card in honor of their anniversary. I used some graphic 45 paper for the backgrounds and image and SU paper for the flower. The ticket is from TH and the Art stamp is from Catslife Press. I also used distress inks and glitter gel pens. The jewel on the flower is orange but my scanner doesn't think so. If you haven't checked it out, you should. They are providing lots of inspiration from past and present designers.

I made this card using her collage sheets that I purchased from her Etsy shop. I don't have her talent but it was fun working with her images.I painted the background and used a Stampin Up stamp for the words. The inside of the card says Have a HOOT! Happy Birthday Amy!

The PLAY DATE CAFE - PDCC 43

I made this for the color challenge at The Play Date Cafe using a stamp from Scrollswork. I made several copies and cut the women apart, gave them wings, colored them with water colors and then put it back together. The ribbon was made with df tape and Glitter Ritz. The wings have Rock Candy Distress Stickles on them but it doesn't show up in the scan. The background of daisies is from Dover. The inside of this card says "Leave room in your garden for the fairies to dance". Thank you for looking! Comments are very appreciated.

Last week I was given the honor of being allowed to display The Cream in our Coffee badge but I am embarrassed to say I don't know how to do that. Call me clueless in blogland.

Sunday Postcard Art -Paris

It has been a long time since I posted. I have missed it. The challenge on Sunday Postcard Art is Paris.
