Seems I missed the nature challenge. This week the Created Byhand Challenge is "Back To School Days". I made this ATC using paper from Tim Holtz, a quote from Quietfire Designs and clipart from Stampington. The shoes didn't scan well but they are shiny and ready for dancing off to school.
The challenge this week for Created byhand is Nature. I decided to do a study with inchies. I used a backgound I had made with lots of inks and different papers. I photocopied it and then stamped my images. The borders are made with acetate tapes.
The challenge on Ready,Steady....Stamp involved using the letter A, brown,cream and white, a scalloped circle, canvas and rain drops. I made my raindrops using Glossy accents and it looks liked I scanned before it was dry. Oh well ,you get the idea. The stamps are Tim Holtz and the saying is by Longfellow.
The challenge this week on DRAGONSDREAM Tag it on was to make a bookmark. The quote is from Quietfire Creations. I thought the crows feet fit well with the "old" idea.
The theme this week on Sunday Postcard Art is fish. I got very inky making the background. Lots of fun. It will come off ... eventually.
The topic on inspiremethursday is pears. The pears are from a napkin and the woman clipart is from Quietfire. The stamps are from Tim Holtz.
The challenge for Wednesday Stamper is Paisley. I made this background a while ago using SU Paisley background stamp, adirondack inks, and clear embossing powder. I added the crows (Dawn Houser) and words (Quietfire) and some SU hardware. Thank you for looking.
