Created Byhand -Nature

The challenge this week for Created byhand is Nature. I decided to do a study with inchies. I used a backgound I had made with lots of inks and different papers. I photocopied it and then stamped my images. The borders are made with acetate tapes.

Ready, Steady...Stamp! Challenge FOUR

The challenge on Ready,Steady....Stamp involved using the letter A, brown,cream and white, a scalloped circle, canvas and rain drops. I made my raindrops using Glossy accents and it looks liked I scanned before it was dry. Oh well ,you get the idea. The stamps are Tim Holtz and the saying is by Longfellow.

Tag it On-Never too old

The challenge this week on DRAGONSDREAM Tag it on was to make a bookmark. The quote is from Quietfire Creations. I thought the crows feet fit well with the "old" idea.

Go Fish

The theme this week on Sunday Postcard Art is fish. I got very inky making the background. Lots of fun. It will come off ...  eventually.

The topic on  inspiremethursday  is pears. The pears are from a napkin and the woman clipart is from Quietfire. The stamps are from Tim Holtz. 

garden Crows

    The challenge for Wednesday Stamper is Paisley. I made this background a while ago using      SU  Paisley background stamp, adirondack inks, and clear embossing powder. I added the crows (Dawn Houser) and words (Quietfire) and some SU hardware. Thank you for looking.

          I made this card for the Soartful owl challenge. I used masking and inks to create the background. The quote is from Quietfire designs.

SMALL WORLD OF INCHIES and TWINCHIES

I made this for the SMALL WORLD OF INCHIES & TWINCHIES challenge this week which is Alice in Wonderland. I started out with just inchies but it turned out to be a card front. I mostly used paper for this project.

  For the TGIF challenge this week I have played with  a Quietfire crow and distress inks. This is a fun shape to work with.

The challenge for Created Byhand this week is to use blue and purple in your project. These are my favorite colors. For this card I have used an emboss resist technique on tissue paper. The stamps - butterflies, flourish and quote are from Quietfire.

Art Pieces Challenge 34

The challenge this week for Art Pieces is birds. I love all birds, not just crows. We have a bird feeder at our back door and right now there are young chickadees, sparrows, nuthatches and towhees coming to it.
