Compendium of Curiosities Challenge- week 5

It's Monday again ! Time to get grungy. This week for the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge we are to use distress powders. I have used broken china, weathered wood, tea dye,old paper and black soot distress powders and ink. I also used the Sizzix patchwork folder and Baroque die. I will embellish this when I put it into my book. I am with Linda on loving distress embossing powder. I find the most important step when using it is to shake it up well just before you apply it. Thank you for looking !

  1. Wow, girlfriend, you've outdone yourself! This is STUNNING!!! I love that you embossed this-- what a great way to add even more texture. And I'm happy to find someone who love the Distress Powder as much as I do!

Great tip about shaking the jar!

Thank you for knocking my socks off again this week! You're a very talented artist!

    Hugs,

  16. Stellar! Have you ever seen the pictoglyphs in Nevada (I assume elsewhere as well, but I'm in Nevada)?

Your piece reminds me of Egyptian pyramid walls and Native American pictoglyphs! COOL!
