Compendium of Curiosities Challenge- week 30

I can't believe we have had 30 weeks of Tim Holtz fun. This week it is all about the embellishments. I can't share how they were done but go over to Studio L3 to see an array of wonderful examples. You also want to go to Simon Says Stamp and Show to get some loving. I have used a piece of flocking for the background which I embossed with a Sizzix folder. The love tag is Th and all the others are from my stash.
I am still immersed in the task of clearing out the clutter in my craft room and everywhere else in the house I have stashed stuff. It is really amazing how much stuff you can fit in a small space! And how hard it is to throw anything away. There is such a fine line between collecting and hoarding.
Thank you for looking!

  4. Love your metal pieces! I don't know why people call them 'junk' drawers. They ought to be called 'treasure' drawers!

  7. Your creation is awesome! I love the metal and the embossed flocking ... beautiful!

The cupids are a little bit of adorable, aren't they?

FYI: The difference between hoarding and collecting is thus: Craft supplies are for collecting. Everything else is hoarding.

And yes, craft supplies include absolutely anything and everything which you might ever at any point, for any reason, in any amount, use on a craft project. :)

  8. I really like your project for this weeks CCC. The colors you have used look so rich and elegant. Those cherubs don't hurt either! I have to agree with CuddlyBunny's explanation of the difference between hoarding and collecting. As a matter of fact, I am wondering if she and I live in the same house! lol
