GC121: Chestnut Challenge- Horror Stories



  I started this a week ago but am entering at almost the last minute. The theme this month is Go Poe and the Chestnut Challenge is Horror Stories. I am not a fan of Horror unless you are creating it on paper. I have used images from Plush Possum Studio and Itkapilli. The raven stamps are from Magenta and "tapping" is from Quietfire Design. I used Tim Holtz Alteration dies Vintage Cabinet Card and mini cabinet card to create my window. I used distress inks- black soot and walnut stain.

    I'm really getting into all this 'Halloween'/Horror stuff. I haven't been interested before, however with all the great stuff on the blogs, perhaps next years I will get my feet wet. I do love your piece. It has great depth and dimension. I feel like I would walk right in and get caught up in the web. Great images as well.     Awesome Donna! I love how you used the arch die cut. I am having an awesome weekend. I had my yearly near complete bottle of wine. It must have been non alcoholic because I am not even buzzing.

    This is so cool, rather like an art deco horror story! Love it!! I wasn't sure if you had the mini cabinet card, we used it at the class, it makes a great frame. Cheers - Rhonda
